Holy cow, I have been so busy getting ready! I can't believe that I leave in three weeks! Ahhh!! I am so excited! I can't wait to meet and love the people of Peru! I know that this is going to be the hardest thing I have ever done, and that I will miss home, but I am so excited to experience a new culture and help others.
Last week I purchased my airline tickets, and that's when everything started to feel real. It kinda hit me, there's no turning back now! I am actually going to Peru for six weeks! This is crazy! I mean, who does this type of stuff?? I do, apparently! But in all seriousness, I am thrilled to have this opportunity to do good. I know that it will change me for the better.
While I am in Peru, I will try to write a post at least every other day so you guys can keep up at home. My bro, Cade, also helped me pick out a pretty sweet camera. So, I will being taking lots of pictures for y'all to see! Well, this is it for this blog post. Until next time, hasta luego!
